Where is Cherokee Rose located?
Cherokee Rose is located between Griffin and McDonough, Georgia. We are 35 miles south of Atlanta, 55 miles north of Macon, and 15 miles west of I-75. Our address is 895 Baptist Camp Rd., Griffin, GA 30223 and our clubhouse number is 770-227-6569.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Wednesday – Sunday from 9 AM – 6 PM. Monday and Tuesday we are open by appointment.
Do you have pistol and rifle ranges?
No, we do not have pistol or rifle ranges at Cherokee Rose.
Are you open to the public?
Yes, we are open to the public. We also offer memberships for discounted rates. Please see our pricing page for more information about member discounts.
Do you have rental guns?
Yes, we offer rental shotguns.
What is Helice?
Helice is a shotgun sport with targets that simulate the unpredictable flight of live birds. Helice targets, called ZZ birds, consist of white circular plastic caps attached to orange dual-winged propellers. The ZZ birds are launched at 5,000 revolutions per minute from numerous motorized machines around the shooting field, also called a ring. The objective is to hit the witness cap off the ZZ bird before it flies out of the ring. Shooters have full use of the gun, or 2 shells, for each ZZ bird.
Do you sell ammunition?
Yes, we offer 12 gauge, 20 gauge, and 28 gauge ammo for sale in our clubhouse for shooting on our grounds.

Can I rent a golf cart?
Yes, we have a fleet of golf carts onsite that hold up to 4 people each.
Can I bring my own golf cart?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own cart.
Do you have a restaurant onsite?
No, we offer snacks and drinks in the clubhouse, and we work with local caterers for group events.
Are you pet friendly?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your dog as long as it is well behaved and kept on a leash.
What should I bring? Do you have a dress code?
Shooters and spectators are required to wear eye and ear protection. Bring sunglasses/glasses and earplugs if you have them. Eye and ear protection are available for purchase in the clubhouse as well. Also, many shooters find it helpful to wear a hat.
Can I bring my own cooler with snacks?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own cooler with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
